Our 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher training is designed to satisfy requirements for annual refresher training for personnel who have completed OSHA’s 24 Hour or 40 Hour HAZWOPER initial training as required by 29 CFR 1910.120(e), (p) and 29 CFR 1926.65(e), (p).
The 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher course is required annually for employees working with and managing hazardous waste operations, and who have previously completed an initial 24 hour or 40 hour HAZWOPER training course. The purpose of the 8 hour HAZWOPER refresher course is to maintain competency as well as stay up to date on new information relating to regulations, technology, and industry trends.
Hands On Statement
Completion of this course satisfies OSHA requirements for informational training of employees. In addition to course completion, the employer is responsible to train employees on work practices, engineering controls, and personal protective equipment used by the employer for employees performing specific tasks.
