Initial Classroom Classes

Classroom courses allow students to learn face-to-face from a qualified instructor in a traditional classroom environment. Ask questions and receive personalized instruction in a distraction-free setting.

Both Initial and Refresher courses are offered. Initial courses (for first-time students) are only offered in a classroom, in order to satisfy regulatory requirements. Refresher courses can be offered either in person or online to accommodate each student’s schedule and needs.

If you haven’t taken the class before, start with an initial.

The Asbestos Institute has provided EPA and Cal/OSHA-accredited safety training since 1988. From OSHA 10 to hazmat training and asbestos certification, our trusted and experienced instructors make sure participants get the high-quality initial and refresher training they need. We offer initial classroom classes in California, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Florida, and New Mexico.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your registration, the Institute must be notified no less than 5 days before the course starts in order to provide a refund. A substitute registrant is welcome at no additional cost. In the event that we must cancel the course, your registration fee will be refunded in full. However, we will not accept responsibility for airline or other cancellation fees.

Un solicitante de registro sustituto es bienvenido sin costo adicional. En caso de que debamos cancelar el curso, se reembolsará la totalidad de su tarifa de inscripción. Sin embargo, no aceptaremos la responsabilidad de la aerolínea u otras tarifas de cancelación.
