Refund Policy for Live-Classroom and Live-Webinar Classes at The Asbestos Institute

We understand that circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellations. Please take note of our cancellation policy outlined below:

Cancellation and Refund Options:

  1. Students who choose to cancel their registration in writing and inform The Asbestos Institute at least ten (10) business days before the first date of class will be eligible for a full refund of all tuition paid.
  2. Cancellations made within ten (10) business days of the first date of class, but at least 72 business hours before the commencement of class, provide students with the option to transfer or apply the tuition amount to another class or student.

For students canceling their registration in writing with less than 72 business hours before the commencement of classes: The option to transfer or apply the tuition amount to another class (same discipline)/student is available, accompanied by a non-refundable transfer fee of $20.00.

It is essential to settle all transfer fees and cancellation fees by 3pm MT on the same day, or the tuition is forfeited. Credits and unused tuition must be utilized or scheduled within 6 months of the original purchase.

Refund requests for eligible students should be submitted in writing within 6 months of the initial transaction. In the event of a no call/no show, tuition becomes non-refundable and non-transferrable at 9:00am MT on the first day of class.

Students are reminded that it is their responsibility to verify eligibility before enrolling in any course. Refunds related to ineligibility or invalid certificates will adhere to the same policy as outlined above.
