The IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) course is a three-day training program designed to give restoration professionals a strong understanding of water damage, structural drying, contamination concerns, and the equipment and procedures commonly used during water-loss restoration projects.
Throughout the course, students will learn how water affects different building materials, how to evaluate drying conditions, and how to select and use appropriate restoration methods and equipment. The training also addresses health and safety considerations, microbial contamination, sewage-related losses, and the proper use of antimicrobial products.
This course is intended to build the knowledge needed to respond effectively to a variety of water-damage situations and help prepare students for the IICRC WRT certification exam.
