At The Asbestos Institute, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to make adjustments to your training schedule as smooth as possible. Please review our updated cancellation and refund policy below.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Full Refund

Cancel in writing at least 10 business days before the first day of class and you’ll receive a full refund of all tuition paid.

• Transfer or Credit

Cancel between 10 business days and 72 business hours before class begins, and you may:
– Transfer your tuition to another student, OR
– Apply it to a future class (same discipline).
No penalty applies.

• Late Cancellation (Under 72 Business Hours)

You may still transfer your tuition to another class (same discipline) or another student. A $20 non-refundable transfer fee applies.

Important Notes

– All transfer and cancellation fees must be paid by 3:00 PM (Mountain Time) on the same day you notify us, or tuition will be forfeited.
– Credits or unused tuition must be applied within 6 months of the original registration date.
– Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 6 months of your original payment.
– The Asbestos Institute is not responsible for travel-related expenses for classes that are canceled two weeks or more prior to the scheduled date.

No Shows & Ineligibility

– No Call / No Show: Tuition becomes non-refundable and non-transferable as of 9:00 AM (MT) on the first day of class.
– Eligibility: It is the student’s responsibility to confirm eligibility before enrolling. Refunds due to ineligibility or invalid certificates are subject to this same policy.
